Victoria Falls & Botswana Safari

Service Description

What better way to experience Africa than by merging two incredible experiences into one? We begin our trip in Zambia where we stay in a gorgeous lodge on the Zambezi River for two nights. During our stay we will embark on a sunset cruise on the Zambezi; visit Victoria Falls and a local market; and enjoy the lodge’s facilities and various activities on offer. The following four nights will be split between Chobe and the Okavango Delta in Botswana, which we travel to by road and small plane, for an exhilarating safari experience. Itinerary Day 1 • Flight ex JHB to Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport (formerly Livingstone Airport) • Transfer to lodge • Afternoon at leisure • Early evening Zambezi Cruise • Overnight: David Livingstone lodge B&B Day 2 • After an early breakfast we visit Victoria Falls • There are three shuttles a day that transfer guests to the falls • Visit the local market • We return to our lodge and spend the rest of the day enjoying time around the pool overlooking the Zambezi. Alternatively, you can partake in the various optional activities on offer • Overnight: David Livingstone Lodge B&B Day 3 • Depart for our next leg of the journey, which takes us to Chobe in Botswana • Road Transfer ex Livingstone to Kasane • Check into lodge • This evening we will enjoy our first safari activity in in Chobe Game Reserve • Return to our lodge early evening for a delicious dinner • Overnight: Chobe lodge DBB Day 4 • Morning safari experience • Return to the lodge for breakfast • Spend the rest of the day around the pool or go for a bush walk with your wildlife ranger • High tea followed by afternoon/evening game drive • Return to the lodge for dinner which is enjoyed around the camp fire under African skies • Overnight: Chobe lodge DBB Day 5 • Transfer to Kasane Airport where we will take chartered flight into the Okavango Delta • You will be met by welcoming hosts and shown to the camp • This afternoon we partake in a safari activity • Overnight: Delta Camp full board Day 6 • Early morning safari activity • Return to the lodge for a day at leisure • Afternoon safari activity • Overnight: Delta Camp full board Day 7 • Breakfast • Check out of our lodge • Flight ex Delta Camp to Maun • Flight ex Maun to Johannesburg *This tour package includes flights
