Time to uncork, wine a little and laugh a lot! Franschhoek is considered the food and wine capital of South Africa and is nestled in one of the most picturesque wine valleys in the world. This getaway is an explosion of culinary delights, quaint boutique stores and award-winning wines. Itinerary Day 1 • Collected at 9am from your guesthouse/hotel • Depart for the Cape winelands via Stellenbosch which is internationally recognized for its exquisite scenery, street cafes and historical buildings • Visit “Oom Samie Se Winkel” with its traditional wares and handicrafts • Continue and travel through the valley to the village of Franschhoek • We enjoy our first wine and chocolate tasting experience at one of the renowned wine farms • Light lunch is enjoyed on the wine estate • Overnight: Franschhoek guest house B&B DAY 2 • We explore the village of Franschhoek.
