Service Description

Desert dust and rugged captivating charm are two ways to describe this natural marvel under African skies. We travel through vast landscapes with endless skies that allow for the most spectacular starry nights. An authentic and adventurous journey that will captivate the whims of wanderlust. Itinerary: Day 1 • Collected at 8am from your guesthouse/hotel • Depart in 4 x4 vehicle for the Northern Cape to the Tankwa National Park situated in the Karoo • Lunch at the quirky Tankwa Padstal • We summit the breathtaking Gannaga Pass with views of the Tankwa basin below • We arrive at the lodge, which is located at the top of the Gannaga Pass with broad vistas of the Karoo wilderness • Enjoy drinks whilst watching the sun-setting • Delicious dinner • Overnight: Gannaga lodge B&B Day 2 • Depart 9:00 and head for the Kagga Kamma Nature Reserve • Check in • Afternoon at leisure to experience a quad bike adventure, rock art tour or a guided nature drive or just relax with a sundowner taking in this untouched wilderness (these are optional activities) • Delicious South African cuisine around the fireplace  • After dinner star-gazing can be experienced at the mini observatory • Overnight: Kagga Kamma Cave Suite B&B Day 3 • Early morning hike for the adventurous or spa treatment for those who just wish to relax • We depart late morning for Cape Town This tour includes: • Certified guide • Air-conditioned 4x4 vehicle • 2 night accommodation B&B • Tankwa National Park • Gannaga Pass • Sundowners • Kagga Kamma Nature Reserve This tour excludes: • Dinner x2 • Lunch x2 • Optional additional activities • Spa Treatments • Gratuities • Porterage • Any Items purchased of a personal nature What to bring: • Sunscreen & sun hat • Camera • Walking shoes
