On this special and private safari in Tanzania we visit some of the world’s most exciting wildlife areas whose names are legendary, such as the Serengeti Plains and the Ngorongoro Crater. The numerous national parks provide excellent game-viewing conditions and a desirable location for those wishing to embark on an unforgettable safari. Tanzania is home of the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth -the Great Wildebeest Migration. We recommend planning your trip between June & July as this is the best time to view the migration across the Serengeti. Day 1 • Collected from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) • Transferred to your accommodation in Arusha city for your overnight stay • Overnight: Arusha accommodation B&B Day 2 • After breakfast we depart for Lake Manyara National Park • This park is known for its’ wonderful, close up elephant sightings, and a large variety of other game species. It is also famous for its’ tree-climbing lions • Lunch is enjoyed en route • Arrive at accommodation in the afternoon • Overnight: Lake Manyara accomodation DBB Day 3 • Today you leave for the Great Serengeti Plains and the 6000 sq. miles of the Serengeti National Park, visiting Olduvai en route • Enjoy afternoon game drives (Besides the migration, this area has great prides of lion and many other species; including leopard, cheetah, hyena, elephant and crocodile, as well as a large variety of antelope) • Return to the camp for dinner • Overnight: Serengeti camp DBB Day 4 • Spend the day doing a full day game drive across the Serengeti • Overnight: Serengeti camp DBB Day 5 • We leave the great plains of the Serengeti for one of the world’s ‘natural wildlife wonders’, the Ngorongoro Crater • Here you can find lion, zebra, wildebeest, a variety of antelope, cheetah, monkey, baboon and some of the largest bull elephant in Africa today • Overnight: Ngorongoro accommodation DBB Day 6 • We descend the crater this morning and in the afternoon depart for Tarangire National Park • Visit Masaai Village • We arrive at our accommodation in the afternoon • Overnight: Tarangire National Park DBB Day 7 • After breakfast you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home *This tour package excludes flights
